Mattawoman Creek Art Center (MCAC) Announces Formation of a New Photography Club! A photography club is starting up at Mattawoman Creek Art Center (MCAC), and all with an interest in photography are invited to join! The first meeting will be at MCAC on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 1 – 3 p.m. in the back of the gift shop. It will be a ‘gettin’ to know you’ event for members to meet one another, and to have an open discussion about ideas for the club. The next meeting will be sometime in July to discuss topics brought up in the initial meeting; for example: discuss types of cameras, lenses, etc. The photography club will be an informal group of like-minded people who love and enjoy photography. The sole purpose is to bring together, in an informal setting, photographic enthusiasts to share, support, and educate each other. • There will be no dues or requirements to participate • You need not be a MCAC member to get involved • Bring your friends and family (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)!
