Fishing Creek Bridge to be Replaced and Raised for Clearance; Area Community is Invited to Attend and Learn More as SHA Completes Project Design What: Next week, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will hold an informational public meeting about the project to replace the MD 261 (Bayside Road) Bridge over Fishing Creek in Calvert County. The project will be advertised for bids this fall, and work is scheduled to begin in spring 2014. SHA engineers will be available to answer questions about the project. Display areas will show the anticipated operational and safety improvements for the project. Those in attendance will be able to learn more about traffic plans during construction. No formal presentation will be given; attendees may arrive at any time and walk through at their own pace.
