St. Mary’s County Public Schools is in the process of adopting a new textbook for use in Advanced Placement Chemistry classes at Chopticon, Great Mills, and Leonardtown High Schools. The textbook, entitled Chemistry: The Central Science, 12th Edition, by Brown, Lemay, Burtsen, Murphy, and Woodward, is now available for public review at the Leonardtown Library.
