On July 29, 2013, at approximately 7 pm, a 1979 Mooney, fixed wing, single engine plane went down in a cornfield in the area of Brown Road, in Leonardtown. According to Joe Hall, the landowner, the cornfield is located on Brewer Farm. The pilot and a passenger walked to a nearby farmhouse on Wheatleys Farm and appear to be alright.There was minimal damage to the cornfield and plane. The planes owner is listed as Stable Air LLC, out of Leonardtown. The fire department was dispatched for a small fuel leak. View Larger Map
