On September 10, 2013 at 12:20 pm, a Ford Focus traveling Southbound on Route 4, rear ended a Ford F250 pickup stopped for the light at Dares Beach Road. The accident in front of the King Building, slowed traffic to the left lane. The 57 year old female, driver of the Ford Focus and the 58 year old male, driver of the Ford F250, were both transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
