The Solomons Business Association is a proud sponsor of the 4th annual Solomons Offshore Grand Prix, to be held on the Solomons waterfront September 13, 14 and 15. The event is presented by the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association (CBPBA), Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) Racing and Bayside Chevrolet. You’ll find an enormous number of events and activities for race fans and the entire family, so plan to bring the kids. Visit the competitors in the Dry Pits, at the county boat ramp under the T.J. Bridge. Here you can climb inside the boats for photos, meet the drivers and throttlemen, and get autographs! Get to know the teams; you’ll have a greater stake in the race outcome, and you’ll know who to root for! Watch the boats craned in, enjoy music, games, food and fun throughout Solomons.
