On Saturday, December 14, at 2:20 pm, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Bristol Avenue in Lexington Park, for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, several shell casings were found in the area. After further investigation, it was discovered that multiple houses were struck by bullets. A witness advised he was in the area when a brown older model SUV drove by and started shooting towards a group of individuals standing outside. No further information is available at this time.
