With the Holidays fast approaching, and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is in full swing. Once again, Southern Maryland Mopars were front and center with their 7th annual Toys for Tots toy drive. This year, over 80 Mopar cars & trucks were on hand. Beginning at 9:00am on Saturday December 7th at The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire department new and vintage Mopars gathered for an early morning meet and greet. Charger, Challengers, Magnums, a few GTXs and even a couple of Cummins powered Rams were on hand. After a few hours of car talk and a couple gallons of coffee, everyone saddled up for the traditional escort to the Solomons Boat Ramp & Fishing pier. At 11:30, the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department met the Mopar group at the foot of the Thomas Johnson Bridge and off they went. With the Bay District VFD leading the way, Mopars old & new arrived at Park Dodge loaded with toys.
