On January 7, 2014 at 3:03 pm, a fire at 12975 Sailboat Lane, Lusby, was discovered by the occupant. St. Leonard, Solomons, Prince Frederick, Hollywood, Bay District Volunteer Fire Departments responded. There was a working smoke alarm. The accidental fire occurred as a result of an unattended candle being left in the living room. The estimated loss to the two story, single family structure is $200,000 and $50,000 to the contents.
