The following is a sample of recent events investigated by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office. BURGLARY: On Jan. 20 between 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., someone broke into a house in the 100 block of Sherman Road in Waldorf and stole several guns including long guns and BB guns. A computer and a few games were also stolen. Officer M. Armstrong is investigating. THEFT FROM AUTO: On Jan. 20, during the overnight hours, several suspects broke into a car parked at an auto repair shop on Holly Auto Center Lane in Waldorf and stole several electronics which were left inside the car. PFC P. Morgan, III is investigating. ATTEMPT THEFT FROM AUTO: Sometime between Jan. 18 to 20, someone broke into a car parked at an auto repair shop in the 12000 block of Washington Square in Waldorf and attempted to steal a stereo.
