On January 29, 2014 Deputy Pleisse responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for an assault on a correctional officer. The investigation revealed inmate Dwayne Anthony Thompson, 51, of Loveville, threw a cup toilet water on Correctional Officer Bowling. Thompson was charged with 2nd Degree Assault on Department of Corrections Employee. Thompson was charged also with assault on a Department of Corrections Employee on January 6, 2014. ______________________________ On January 3, 2014, Corporal Somerville responded to a residence in Loveville, for a subject with a knife. The investigation revealed, suspect Dwayne Anthony Thompson, 51, of Loveville, retrieved a knife during a family argument. Thompson swung the knife at the victim but missed. He then picked up a brick and was approaching another family when the original victim tackled Thompson to the ground. Corporal Somerville placed Thompson under arrest and transported him to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 1st Degree Assault. On Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 5:40 am, TFC J. Hardesty served a Bench Warrant on Dwayne Anthony Thompson, 51, of Loveville.
