Please, can we stop accepting second best? The current administration continues to run on a platform of, “It would have been worse if we didn’t”: • hike your taxes • pass Obamacare • spend 1 trillion in tax payer funded ‘stimulus’ money • pass new financial market regulations. Well, it is worse, but it doesn’t have to be. We have given those ideas a shot and they have produced the worst economic recovery in post-WWII American history, a devastated healthcare system, 6.6 trillion in new debt, and big banks have turned into bigger banks. How about we try some tested solutions such as broad-based, across the board, tax-relief? Healthcare reform that eliminates the Obamacare bureaucracy and puts you in charge? And budget constraints that control real spending, not simply the rate of growth? I refuse to run on, “It could have been worse” and will only run on “Here’s why tomorrow will be better.” -Dan
