On Friday, February 21, 2014 shortly after 3:00p.m., the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded to the last of the tree and wires down for the day, when a call came in regarding a flooding condition with a dog trapped under the crawl space of a house on Barberry Lane in the Pepper Ridge section of Wildwood, in California. Once firefighters arrived on the scene, Mikey Ryan and Will Carter proceeded to enter the crawl space and made their way across the flooded area to where the dog was sitting in the flooded area. The two Firefighter’s were able to get the dog and make their way back to pass “Clancy” to fellow Firefighter Matt Duncan. Well done Bay District Volunteer Fire Department!
