On Sunday, February 16, 2014, Deputy Lance and Sergeant Young  of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office were on a vehicle stop in Lexington Park. Deputy Lance obtained a social security card from suspect Genaro Hernandez Reyez, 49, of Lexington Park. Deputy Lance found many of the security features on the card were inconsistent with those cards issued in 2009. After additional investigation, the card was determined to be a fictitious and fraudulent government document. Reyez also had five passport photos of himself and a Mexican drivers license. Reyez was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Possession/Use of False Government Identification Document. According to court documents Colina went before District Court Commissioner Mary King, and was released on his own personal recognizance the same day.
