So, now are you ready to flex that artistic muscle? All MCAC classes and workshops are open to adults. Youth 17 and under desiring to attend must be accompanied by an adult. For workshops that take place over the noon hour, participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch. To register for any class or workshop, contact MCAC at 301-743-5159 by email at mattawomanart@aol.com. MCAC also offers Open Studio on Fridays March 7 – May 23 from 11 am – 3 pm. There is no charge to participate. Simply come create: paint, draw, take photos, sculpt, knit, quilt, etc. Bring your own materials & your lunch. Bring your friends (both members & nonmembers). Share ideas & techniques. Critique each other’s work. Enjoy the creative process! In addition to classes and workshops, MCAC offers demonstrations, exhibits, movies, and tea parties and boasts its own gift shop of artist-created items, so be sure to visit www.mattawomanart.org for a schedule of all offerings.
