CCSO District II Station in Indian Head to Permanently Move to Different Building  Elevated Levels of Mold/Allergens in Building Cited as Reasons for Move The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is permanently vacating the District II station at 4401 Indian Head Highway in Indian Head. The building was vacated on Jan. 3 after elevated levels of mold/allergens were discovered. Initially, officers worked from a command post bus located in the parking lot, but recently they were moved to the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department at 73 Glymont Road in Indian Head. Officers will continue to provide full police services to residents of District II until a suitable facility is found. A search is underway for a building, preferably on the Route 210 corridor. The non-emergency telephone number to the District II station will remain the same and citizens with questions may contact (301) 743-2222.
