Mr. BiBS was born (built) from a need to provide quality coffee for our church members, Bridgeway Community Church, on Sunday mornings. What makes Mr. BiBS unique is that he is completely mobile (yes, on wheels) because we don’t have a permanant building. We set up and tear down each Sunday as we meet in Evergreen Elementary School. He is equipped with 2 commercial drip coffee machines and a grinder (it’s gotta be fresh!). Mr. BiBS became such a popular personality that we thought, “Why not use him at local events to unite our community through a shared common cup.” The idea was born and with a few phone calls, we have 2 events lined up to serve free coffee to our community as outreach. The Easter Egg Hunt in Leonardtown on March 30th and the Farming For Hunger 5K race on May 11th. Why do this? We have seen really awesome conversations happen over a good common cup and would love to use Mr BiBS as an outreach opportunity in service of our community.
