Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse (CAASA) presents Comedy Invasion at Huntingtown High School on February 22, 2013. The doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 8 pm. Performing will be Al Madrigal. His comedy has been called “dynamic” by the New York Times and HBO’s U. S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen named him “Best Stand-Up Comedian,” His unique, spontaneous and fast paced lyrical storytelling style has made him a favorite on television. He has starred in his own half-hour stand-up special, “Comedy Central Presents: Al Madrigal,” and he is a regular contributor on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” In addition, Al has appeared on “Conan,” “The Tonight Show.” Lopez Tonight,” “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Chelsea Lately” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Also performing with Al Madrigal, will be Jason Weems, a native of Baltimore.
