On February 1, 2013, at 11:46 am, Huntingtown Volunteers and Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad were dispatched to a serious automobile accident with a person trapped and the vehicle on fire on Route 4 and Robshire Manor Road in Huntingtown. Arriving on the scene, first responders found a single vehicle (not on fire) that had struck a guardrail head-on. Prior to arriving on the scene, the victim had been removed from the vehicle by passersby and was semi-conscious, lying in the roadway.
