The Tri-County Dart Association and Bozick Distributors are please to present some top notch dart contestants at its 25th Annual Tricoda Open. This event, benefiting Hospice of St. Mary’s is fun and full of some very skilled dart tournament contestants. After the 24th Annual TRICODA dart tournament, representatives presented a check for $5,200 to Hospice of St. Mary’s on April 13, 2012. At that time, according to TRICODA President, Robbie Tejchman, “This was the best turnout we have had for the TRICODA Open!” When asked about this year, Tejchman commented, “We have quite a feat to beat last year, but that’s our goal!” Hospice Board Member Cindy Beakes stated upon receiving last year’s check, that the TRICODA organization has been helping to fund Hospice of St. Mary’s for a while and “to-date they have contributed over $22,000 to Hospice. It is a great help.” According to Tejchman, TRICODA enjoys giving back to the community and feels proud to be able to contribute money to Hospice of St. Mary’s. The American Darts Organization (ADO), the governing body for steel-tip darts in the United States, averages 200 clubs with 50,000 members nationwide.
