United Way of Calvert County recently received a $10,000 grant for its Community Impact work in Calvert County from the Dominion Foundation. Funds are designated to support United Way of Calvert County’s Community Impact and Basic Needs grants, benefiting the programs of 22 local nonprofit organizations addressing education, financial stability and health issues in Calvert County. “Dominion Cove Point really understands and cares about the needs of the community and strives to help those in need,” says UWCC President & CEO, Kelly Chambers.
