On Monday, February 17, 2014, Corporal O’Connor of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle sitting on the shoulder of Three Notch Road in California. The driver, Jesse Cole Dubac, 20, of Leonardtown, was outside of his vehicle and advised he had run out of gas. Corporal O’Connor observed a beer in the center console. A further search of the vehicle revealed a glass smoking device with suspected marijuana residue. Additional controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia was located throughout the vehicle. Dubac was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Possession Controlled Dangerous Substance – Marijuana, and 2 counts of Paraphernalia. Dubac was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance on January 30, 2014 by Captain D. Alioto. According to court documents Dubac went before District Court Commissioner Jake T Karaczynski, and was released on his own personal recognizance.
